Posture is a particular position of the body or the arrangement of body parts relative to one another. With an ideal posture, you can perform any activity in the most efficient manner while using the least amount of energy. All activity begins and ends with a posture. For perfect erect standing, we need very little muscular activity. Joints are balanced on one another in a way to minimize the work necessary to hold us upright against gravity.
